New Mahindra KUV100 NXT K2+ #XPREZ Panel Van
Based on the KUV100 NXT K2+ model, the Mahindra #XPREZ panel van offers more space for less with several impressive standard features. While it may have been designed with small businesses in mind, anyone can enjoy the extra space and modern design. Whether you’re an entrepreneur, tradesman or kitesurfer, the new Mahindra #XPREZ panel van checks all the boxes.
When asked about the new model introduction, Mahindra CEO Rajesh Gupta said: “In recent years, we have seen rapid growth in online retailing and general delivery services. This has only accelerated during the lockdown, as we have become more comfortable with our new online lives and the option of ordering in.”
Making The Mahindra #XPREZ Panel Van
Mahindra’s Special Fitment Centre in Gauteng is where it all begins. Here, they transform the KUV100 NXT K2+ hatchback into a spacious panel van following the required specifications. The list of features, vehicles specifications, performance and pricing show good value for money.
The #XPREZ conversion replaces the hatchback’s rear seat with a flat and highly durable loading area. It has a total cargo space of 1,350 litres which means you can load packages or equipment up to 350kg. With cargo safety always a concern, the side and rear windows of the Mahindra #XPREZ have been blocked out and reinforced with extra metal barriers.
As a standard option, Mahindra has included a fire extinguisher and safety barrier made from laser-cut steel mesh between the load area and the two front occupants. Other safety features retained from the KUV100 include dual front airbags and ABS brakes with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD).
Vehicle Specifications And Performance
With the Mahindra #XPREZ sharing DNA with the KUV100 K2+, it has all the comfort features you’d expect, including power steering and air conditioning as standard. They’ve also added central locking and a radio – which makes it comfortable and convenient for all types of drivers.
The #XPREZ is powered by Mahindra’s popular 1.2-litre mFalcon petrol engine delivering 61 kW and 115 Nm of torque. It has a well-rated fuel consumption of around 5.9 litres/100 km in a combined cycle. If that’s not enough to convince you, don’t forget that the Mahindra #XPREZ shares the best-in-class low maintenance and repair costs of the KUV100 (verified by the 2020 AA Kinsey Report).
What’s The Verdict On The Mahindra #XPREZ?
