Mahindra Scorpio Pik-Up Bakkie Review
Bakkies regularly outsell the more conventional family car in South Africa, so it comes as no surprise that Mahindra has a bakkie that is both tough and stylish while also offering a bit of a family flavour. How do they do it you ask? Well, simply put the Mahindra Scorpio Pik-Up Bakkie is available in two different cab types (the LCV single and family friendly double), as well as in a 4×2 and 4×4 variant.
Both are exceptionally similar in drive style, spec levels and reliability, with one of the few differences being cabin space in the double cab and engine type in the lower spec Scorpio Pik-Up.
Scorpio Pik-Up Single Cab Review
With a total length of over 5.1 metres, the Mahindra Scorpio Pik-Up is a beast of a vehicle. It offers a massive 210mm ground clearance and a load bay, which is both long and deep. This makes it a very good option for people who are looking for a well price (and fuel frugal) Light Commercial Vehicle. Add to this a 1250kg payload, and you’ll be hard pressed to find any other bakkie as good as this one in this price range.
Scorpio Pik-Up Double Cab Review
As family friendly as a bakkie will ever get, the Scorpio Pik-Up Double Cab is as tough as its single cab cousin, but gives up a little load bay space to add a passenger section that is both spacious and comfortable. This is the perfect vehicle for those of you who like to spend plenty of time in the veld with family and friends. Even more so if you opt for the versatile Scorpio Pik-Up Double Cab 4×4 bakkie. With a great price and easy style of driving, the Scorpio Double Cab Bakkie is a pleasure to own.
